Sacrament of Holy Baptism

We rejoice that you are considering Holy Baptism for yourself or your child. Holy Baptism is a wonderful gift from God. Through water and God's Word, we are welcomed into God's family, joined to Jesus Christ, forgiven of our sins, and given the promise of eternal life.

Baptism is much more than a family tradition, a symbol, or a public declaration of faith. It is God's gracious work, through which God's love and blessings are poured out upon God's people.

At Our Savior's Lutheran Church, we believe that Baptism marks the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith. As a congregation, we are committed to supporting and encouraging the baptized through worship, Christian education, fellowship, service, and prayer.
